Nobuo looks really awesome here!

All the characters are far cleaner and more expressive here; I say you've improved once again. Great work sir!!

I would be careful of the lines on Nobuo's chest however; if your intent is hair or scars, the way your lines end bluntly (likely from the marker tool in manga studio) will hinder the sharpness of your line work. It's harder, but using the pen tool and getting the settings to make sharp points at the end of each stroke for the fine details may be a good thing to try out. My 2 cents though :P

Thank you for your 2 cents sir!!! I actually used a pen tool for the whole piece... Nobuo's chet is the result of some sloppy pen rendering... they were an after effect, not careful pre-planned lines, my attempt at being organic i suppose, but the result is noted. :D Nobuo is a beast though... I would NOT want to bump into him in a dark alley.

If you used the pen tool then I assume you blunted the beginning and ending of strokes.

I'd slowly try to incorporate them in, they will help the aesthetic of your detail work a lot!

I've been criticized for doing the same thing (chaotic lines to be organic; in my case it was with coloring techniques) and I've come to understand, from my experience, that to make something look organic, the "illusion" of chaos must be apparent... but it does not necessarily have to be chaotic.

A good practice is to use illusions (genjustu xD) to imply something in your work. Nsio showed me this great tutuorial here: [link] which does a LOT better at explaining the "illusions"... but it's more geared towards coloring versus lines. Nonetheless, I think you may be able to apply some of the theory here into line-works also. Again, another 2 cents for you. Hope this helps in some way.

If I saw Nobuo in an alley, I'd be like *poof* xD
